Topshots Creator Studio

Take one story from the brief through speech-safe cuts, captions, visual proof, motion, sound, and an editable handoff.

Creators and small studios who want their coding AI to help plan and check video work.

Visual examples. Plain language. Go at your own pace.

Slide 1 / 6

A strong point gets lost in a rough edit

You have a useful recording, a few screenshots, and an idea for a short video. Cutting first can leave half a word, captions that drift, or a visual that does not support the claim.

  • Decide what the viewer should understand before choosing effects.
  • Keep the original meaning and language of the speaker.

What this means for your project

Give your AI one connected process for planning, cutting, and checking a video.

You have the recording. Now make the point land.

You recorded a useful explanation, but it runs long. Start with the point the viewer needs, select complete phrases, keep captions with the speech, and add screenshots only where they support the story. The bundle helps you carry those choices into an editable handoff.

How would I use this with AI?

A skill is a set of instructions and examples for your AI coding assistant. You bring your idea and your project. The skill gives the assistant a process to follow.

  1. Tell your AI what you want to do and share the complete package.
  2. Work through the setup together. You may need accounts or tools listed below.
  3. Review and test the result before using it in your project.

You receive instructions and working examples to use with your own tools. Setup and review remain part of the work.

Try this as your first task
You bring
A short recording, accurate word timings, audience, destination, and your chosen editor.
Work toward
A story brief, checked cut plan, matching captions, and a reviewable editing handoff.

Check the result: No cut crosses a supplied word interval; captions follow the output clock; visual claims have evidence and asset rights.

Use this after installing the package. Your AI tool and any external services are separate.

  1. Choose the story
  2. Check the cuts
  3. Match captions
  4. Review the export

Starting point

A cut ends in the middle of a supplied word interval

What changes

The timing check rejects the cut before you render

Move the end of a sample cut and see when it clips a word. The full package compiles your selected intervals and captions on one frame clock.

Invented teaching fixture. No files are uploaded, no payment is made, and no external app is contacted.

Step 1 of 6

A strong point gets lost in a rough edit

You have a useful recording, a few screenshots, and an idea for a short video. Cutting first can leave half a word, captions that drift, or a visual that does not support the claim.

  • Decide what the viewer should understand before choosing effects.
  • Keep the original meaning and language of the speaker.

Step 2 of 6

One brief becomes a finishable edit

Build a story and shoot plan, select complete phrases, place the evidence, and direct motion and sound around the point you are making.

BeforeSeparate editing notes, caption times, and proof choices
AfterOne cut plan with remapped captions and a proof ledger
Made-up example. Try the interactive preview to see what changes.
  • One bundle covers the journey. Start at the stage you need.
  • The handoff records the choices so another editor can continue.

Step 3 of 6

Plan, cut, prove, then finish

Your AI follows the studio workflow. The included compiler checks your source intervals against supplied word timings and remaps captions onto the output timeline.

  1. Plan the story
  2. Check speech boundaries
  3. Place proof and direct the edit
  4. Review and hand off
Steps shown in the example.
  • The compiler emits a cut plan, SRT captions, and an FFmpeg filter.
  • Creative choices and the final render still happen in your editor.

Step 4 of 6

Move a cut through a spoken word

The sample phrase ends at frame 90. Compare a cut at frame 75 with a cut at frame 120 and see why one should be rejected.

What to tryMove the sample cut inside a word, then past its end
Expected resultThe clipped interval fails; a boundary-aligned cut passes the timing check
Made-up example. Try the interactive preview to see what changes.
  • The public preview is a small teaching fixture, not the full compiler.
  • The shipped example joins two selections into a 17-second timeline.

Step 5 of 6

A studio routine you can reuse

The package connects story and shooting notes to speech, evidence, motion, sound, and delivery checks. Its scripts do the timing work that can be checked precisely.

  • Six focused guides, a runnable tool, an example, and tests.
  • Use assets you own or have permission to use. No footage or music library is included.

Step 6 of 6

For creators who want control of the result

Bring your recording, audience, destination, editor, and accurate word timings. Use the skill to plan and check the work, then watch the exported result.

What you need
  • A coding assistant that can read the complete skill folder
  • Node.js 20 or later for the timeline tool
  • Your footage, accurate word timings, asset permissions, and chosen editor
  • FFmpeg if you want to use the emitted trim/concat filter; editor and AI subscriptions are separate
Limits to knowAccurate word timing, footage, editing, and creative review are still yours to supply
Check what you need and what the product can do before choosing it.
  • The tool supports one source with audio and a constant integer frame rate.
  • It does not transcribe, generate footage, or automatically finish a video.

What you receive

  • One connected workflow for story, shoot planning, editing, motion, sound, and delivery
  • A timeline tool that checks supplied word timings and keeps cuts and captions on the same frame clock
  • SRT captions, a structured cut plan, and an FFmpeg trim/concat filter from your timeline
  • A visual-proof ledger, export checks, synthetic examples, and six timing tests

What you can check here

Package version 1.0.0 / page version 1

  • Checks performed on the package

Six compiler tests passed on Node 24.20.0, macOS arm64. The emitted filter also produced a 17-second, 510-frame synthetic video that decoded successfully. That rehearsal does not establish compatibility with every editor or creative quality.

Will it work with your tools?

Node 24.20.0 / macOS arm64Tested
Core checks ran after extracting the release archive into a fresh directory. Node 20 or later is required; other runtime versions and external integrations need checking in your setup.

Before you choose

Read the paid skill terms for permitted use, what your purchase includes, help, and refunds.

  • One purchase covers unlimited own and client projects for one purchaser. You may modify the package and use it with your coding AI. Do not resell or publicly redistribute the standalone package. Later versions may be sold separately. See the paid skill terms for help and refunds.
  • You supply footage, accurate word timings, asset rights, and an editor. The included tool supports one source with audio at a constant integer frame rate.
  • This is a skill and a cut-plan compiler, not an automatic video editor, transcription service, or finished-video subscription. Models, voices, music, and editing tools are separate.
Is this several unrelated skills?

No. It is one connected studio package. You can enter at story planning, editing, or delivery while keeping the same brief and evidence records.

Will it make a finished video from one prompt?

No. It guides your AI and editor and supplies a timing tool. You provide assets, review the creative work, render, and inspect the result.
