Country-Aware Storefront

Use a trusted country signal on the first page request to send your chosen introduction, example, offer, and payment help at the same URL.

Founders selling across countries who want their website to answer the questions buyers in each market actually ask.

Visual examples. Plain language. Go at your own pace.

They followed your link. Does the page speak to their situation?

Imagine selling planning worksheets across countries. A visitor in Nairobi opens your link, but the opening example gives them little sense of how they would use the product.

  • A regional buying question might be about the use case, the offer, or how to pay.
  • Find those questions through customer research and testing, not assumptions about nationality.

What this means for your project

Show a locally tailored version of your site as soon as someone arrives.

They arrived. Did they feel welcome?

You spent the evening building a good product. In the morning, someone opens your site from Nairobi. They see a familiar example, a clear local offer, and an explanation that answers their questions. That welcome was already in the first page your server sent. You chose the story; the country code helped deliver it.

How would I use this with AI?

A skill is a set of instructions and examples for your AI coding assistant. You bring your idea and your project. The skill gives the assistant a process to follow.

  1. Tell your AI what you want to build and share the package instructions.
  2. Work through the setup together. You may need accounts or tools listed below.
  3. Review the changes and test them before putting them on your live site.

This is a package you use while building, not a finished website or a service that runs it for you.

Not sure where to start? Ask about a project like yours.

One generic welcome for every visitor

What changes

A first page with the introduction, example and offer chosen for this market

Your hosting service supplies a country code. Your server sends the local version immediately. You write the content for each audience; the skill helps your AI connect the right version to each request.

Compare imagined first visits from different markets. Sample content and offers do not change this shop’s checkout.

Step 1 of 6

They followed your link. Does the page speak to their situation?

Imagine selling planning worksheets across countries. A visitor in Nairobi opens your link, but the opening example gives them little sense of how they would use the product.

  • A regional buying question might be about the use case, the offer, or how to pay.
  • Find those questions through customer research and testing, not assumptions about nationality.

Step 2 of 6

Make the first page feel relevant

The page arrives with a Nairobi workshop example, an introduction you wrote for that market, and a regional offer with payment guidance. The visitor has something concrete to consider.

BeforeCountry unknown: show the default example
AfterCountry code KE: the first page includes the local introduction, example and offer

  • Tailor the introduction, example, offer, and payment help.
  • Keep the product title, facts, and included items shared.
  • The tailored page is the first HTML response at the same URL. No redirect is required.

Step 3 of 6

Choose the welcome before the page leaves your server

Your hosting service or gateway attaches a trusted country code to the visitor’s first GET request, the browser’s request for the page. Your server chooses the content before sending it.

  1. Visitor requests your page
  2. Hosting supplies country: KE
  3. Server selects approved local content
  4. Browser receives the tailored page
Steps shown in the example.
  • Connect your trusted country source using the package’s signed signal. A country typed into the URL is not enough.
  • A saved visitor choice comes first; an unknown country gets your default.
  • Visitors can change the market, but they do not have to choose one before seeing the page.

Step 4 of 6

Follow the same link from two places

Compare a request from Kenya with one from the US: a Nairobi workshop and a US studio see different introductions, examples, offers, and payment help.

What to tryCompare new requests from Kenya, the United States, and an unknown country
Expected resultThe first response changes with the request. An existing visitor preference still takes priority
Made-up example. Try the interactive preview to see what changes.
  • The Nairobi workshop and US studio are imagined audiences, not claims about how everyone in either country buys.
  • Sample offers are prices chosen for each market, not exchange-rate conversions or live checkout quotes.
  • Try Unknown country and a saved visitor preference too.

Step 5 of 6

Give your AI a starting point for regional pages

Use the content worksheet to decide what each audience needs to hear. Then connect your authored versions with the working storefront and the code that selects them.

  • Four editable content slots, sample market rules, and setup guidance
  • Checks for visitor choices, missing country signals, and saved pages reaching the wrong market
  • New layouts, proof sections, or action buttons need your own site integration and truthful material.

Step 6 of 6

Build for your markets, then listen to your buyers

This fits a founder who wants one product presented with relevant local context. Start with a change you can explain, then test whether visitors understand the offer better.

What you need
  • Introductions, examples, offers, and payment guidance you have written for each market, informed by research or a clear hypothesis to test
  • Node.js 20 or later, the software that runs the core examples on your computer; check the package record for versions actually tested
  • For the tailored first response, a trusted country source in your hosting or gateway, connected with the supplied signing helper; the package does not look up location itself
  • Access to server rendering and cache settings, which control the first page response and saved copies of pages
Limits to knowCountry alone does not tell you a visitor’s language or which payment methods they can use
Check what you need and what the product can do before choosing it.
  • You supply the regional content and a trusted country source.
  • The package does not infer culture, create testimonials, or translate automatically.
  • Payment availability needs separate checks. More sales are not guaranteed.

What you receive

  • Server-side market selection, using a trusted country hint or the visitor’s saved choice before sending the page
  • Four places for content you write for each market: introduction, example, offer, and payment help
  • A working sample storefront, connection examples, and checks for unknown locations and mixed-up pages
  • A content planning worksheet, instructions for your coding AI, setup steps, and recovery guidance

Will it work with your tools?

Codex and Node.jsExample setup only
Paid package version 1.0.0. Check the package compatibility record for the exact setups tested. Other tools, hosting services, and live provider connections need validation in your own setup.

Before you choose

Read the paid skill terms for permitted use, what your purchase includes, help, and refunds.

  • One purchase licenses one individual or organisation to use and modify this version in unlimited own and client projects, including commercial work. Do not resell the standalone package, sublicense it as a competing package, redistribute it publicly, or share it with unrelated purchasers. Later releases may be sold separately; no lifetime updates are promised.
  • You must connect a trusted hosting or gateway country source. The package does not look up location itself, translate text, or infer buying preferences from nationality.
  • You author and test regional content. Country does not establish identity, language, or payment eligibility. Hosting and provider connections need checking in your setup; more sales are not guaranteed.
Will this identify a visitor perfectly?

No. VPNs and unknown locations are expected. A market the visitor chooses takes priority.

Does it change my real checkout here?

No. The sample market control is separate from this shop’s market selector.

Does it guarantee more sales?

No. It helps you inspect and measure the changes you make.
